In another incident of dog cruelty the residents and the office bearers of a posh society in Noida Hyde Park have been booked for torturing a dog in the most inhuman and ghastly manner.
The reason was overpopulation of stray dogs in the society and the children being bitten by them.
The human monsters captured the dog in a net and then beat him in the most cruel manner. As if the animal was a tiger or a lion. They just didn't stop there. They uploaded this gruesome act of theirs on the WhatsApp group of the society. As if they have hunted and captured a lion or a tiger. The men behind have been booked. And the brave lady who has filed an FIR against these rogues is Kaveri Rana. She also happens to be a PFA representative.
This incident reminds you of Pre British days and the British era in India when kings and the noble man used to go for hunting in jungles and hunt a tiger and get a pic clicked with his dead body.
In those daysd that was the way to show ones prowess and bravery.
Kings have gone thanks to our iron man Sardar Patel. But their place has been taken by Bahubalis (RWAs and Society presidents and office bearers) in India.
These people think they are above law and kill whoever they like. The best part is they are getting support from our councillors, ministers and government representatives (municipalities and police).
Are we really paying our tribute to the iron man of India or the Father of our nation.
We are celebrating the 150 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
He said "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated"
With such incidents we can easily say that India has gone back to the iron age.
Is this why Sardar Patel and Mahatma Gandhi fought for our independence?
Our honourable Prime Minister, Environment Minister and Chief Ministers of all states please do something.
There is a simple solution to the stray dog problem called the ABC programme which every RWA and residents of colonies can implement in their colony and get rid of dog population and rabies. The ABC programme is the only humane and legal solution to curtail dog population to eradicate canine rabies from India.
Now whose responsibility is it to tell the Bahubalis of India about this programme?
The environment minister and the animal welfare board of India has failed in bringing awareness about this programme and also about the Animal protection laws.
Had the society president and the residents of Hyde Park knew about the dog laws they probably wouldn't have indulged in such an act and then posted it as a mark of their bravity on the WhatsApp group.
Dogs do not bite unless they are provoked.
From the ghastly video one can make out that if the parents are so cruel towards the dogs of the society then how their children must be behaving with them.
