I am a veteran who relies on Highway 407 for my daily travels and work. Like many others in my position, I find Highway 401 to be an immensely stressful and congested alternative. Recognizing the sacrifices we have made this would be a small but extremely meaningful acknowledgment of our dedication and service to our country.

Statistics highlight Canada's long-standing commitment to its veterans. In fact, there are approximately 500,000 veterans in Canada, many of whom faced difficulties transitioning back into civilian life. Enabling free access to Highway 407 for veterans would be a small, but substantial gesture of gratitude for their service. This isn't just about transportation - it reflects our nation's dedication to ensure the well-being of those who protect us.
