Thank you again, for signing the petition to make Griffith Park safer!

To update you, Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) in coordination with Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC), Streets For All and Active SGV (San Gabriel Valley) have had meetings with park representatives, representatives from Council District 4, representatives from CalTrans and state level officials. Everyone is in agreement with the objectives laid out in this petition — PROGRESS IS BEING MADE! 

The current plans would start implementing immediate safety improvements in 1-2 months — way too long! We need changes right NOW, not months down the road. Without continued pressure from all of us this speed unfortunately will not change.

We do need your continued help:

1) Re-share this petition on all your social networks.

2) Text the link to the contacts in your phone. You may have a lot, so maybe share 10 a day till you get through everyone! :)

3) Share the petition with like-minded groups on Reddit or start a discussion about it.

4) Go on Next Door and share with your neighbors.

Know that it doesn't matter where your friends and contacts are. They don't have to live in LA to lend their support to this effort.
