EA has announced that Gauntlet will be removed from the active REDSEC playlist with Season 5 because it represents a smaller portion of REDSEC play and they want to consolidate players into fewer playlists.

We're asking EA to reconsider and keep Gauntlet as a permanent playable mode.

Gauntlet and Battle Royale are fundamentally different experiences. There are players who have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of matches playing Gauntlet instead of Battle Royale, despite BR being available the entire time.

That's why removing Gauntlet doesn't automatically mean those players will move to Battle Royale or Rapid Royale.

If we wanted to be playing BR, we'd already be playing it.

For many of us, the choice isn't:

Gauntlet → Rapid Royale

It's:

Gauntlet → another game

What's especially frustrating is how Gauntlet reached this point. The mode has spent months dealing with significant bugs and unresolved issues, including the Interdictor problem, while receiving limited additional content.

EA may have internal data showing that Gauntlet's population is smaller today. We aren't disputing data we can't see. We're asking EA to consider why engagement declined and whether removing the mode is really the best answer.

Rapid Royale may turn out to be great. This petition isn't asking EA to remove it or stop developing new REDSEC experiences.

We're asking them not to remove ours in the process.

Keep Gauntlet available permanently. Fix its outstanding issues. Continue supporting it alongside REDSEC's other modes.

There are still players who want to play Gauntlet.

Give us somewhere to play it.
