Announcement: FOHL forms Make Gallatin Nice Again PAC
 

Friends Of Old Hickory Lake,

We want to share an important update about our ongoing work to protect Old Hickory Lake, promote responsible development, and ensure Gallatin’s future reflects the values of its citizens.

A group of community members has formed a new political action committee called Make Gallatin Nice Again. The purpose of this PAC is to support local leadership that prioritizes smart growth, strong infrastructure planning, environmental stewardship, and the long‑term quality of life around Old Hickory Lake and throughout our city.

Make Gallatin Nice Again will focus on:

Encouraging transparency and accountability in local decision‑making
Supporting candidates who listen to residents and reflect community priorities
Promoting responsible development that protects our lake, neighborhoods, and natural resources
Ensuring citizens have a strong voice in Gallatin’s future

This PAC is an additional tool for community members who want to stay engaged, informed, and active in shaping the direction of our city.

We will continue our work as Friends of Old Hickory Lake—educating neighbors, monitoring development proposals, and advocating for the protection of our lake and surrounding communities.

The creation of this PAC simply adds another avenue for citizens who want to participate in the civic process and support leadership aligned with these shared goals.
