🚨 SHOWDOWN: COMMUNITY CALL-TO-ACTION 🚨
Foxland Marina Project – Second Reading & VOTE
📅 Tuesday, October 7, 2025
🕕 6:00 PM SHARP - Wear RED
📍 Gallatin City Hall – 132 W Main St
This is it, Gallatin. The moment we’ve been preparing for.
The second reading and vote on the Foxland Harbor Marina project is here — and your presence could tip the scales.
The developer’s oversized master plan does not match the Army Corps lease. Period.
Yet it’s being pushed forward anyway. Why?
💬 Ask the council to slow down and get real answers. From the developer, not his sub-contractors. There are so many unanswered questions about this project and it is time the Council asks these questions on YOUR BEHALF!
This project is too large and too commercial for THIS location.
❗ Councilman Craig Hayes — whose district is directly impacted — was absent at the Public Hearing.
Now, he’s sponsoring the resolution to approve it.
That’s not accountability. That’s fast-tracking.
❗ Our roads.
❗ Our lake.
❗ Our neighborhoods.
All on the line.
We deserve answers. We demand transparency. Ask the Council to demand answers from the developer.
💥 Why You MUST Be There 💥
• 🚦 Stop traffic gridlock before it starts
• 🌊 Protect lake safety and shoreline integrity
• 🏘️ Preserve neighborhood character and quality of life
• ⚖️ Hold our leaders accountable and demand honest answers
✅ What You Can Do:
• Bring a neighbor. Bring five.
• Arrive early and sign up to speak. Wear RED.
• Ask your elected officials directly:
Why is the developer presenting one plan to the council, while his lease says something different?
Why are residents being ignored?
Whose side are you on — the developer’s or the citizens’?
Why the rush? Slow down and do it right.
This project is too large and too commercial for this location.
📞 CALL or EMAIL your Mayor and Council TODAY
Ask them the hard questions. Be respectful, firm, and fact-based.
Demand a NO vote on this latest oversized marina project that is before them right now.
