Music credits are how careers are built. But on many streaming platforms, credits are often hidden in menus, incomplete, inconsistent across songs, or missing key roles entirely. In MENA, this invisibility hits women hardest: if a producer, engineer, songwriter, arranger, or session musician isn’t credited clearly, she can’t be discovered, verified, or hired again.

We’re calling on streaming platforms (starting with Spotify and Anghami) to make full music credits visible by default for every track.

We ask for:

1. One-tap, visible-by-default credits on every song (not buried or optional)
2. Complete role credits (producer, engineer, songwriter, composer, arranger, session musician, etc.)
3. Standardized, accurate credit metadata so the same roles appear consistently across releases
4. Searchable contributor pages so listeners can find and follow the people behind the sound

When credits are visible, talent becomes discoverable. When credits are missing, work disappears.
