The Scottish Government have announced that both NHS funded and privately funded fertility treatment only be available to those people that are vaccinated

If you are about to undergo ANY type of fertility treatment (not just IVF), or you're due to receive any type of fertility assisted medication- this will no longer be available unless vaccinated.

There have been reports of women being turned away whilst in the middle of treatment if they havent received their first vaccination. Couples who were due a transfer have been told they no longer qualify- their embryos (their potential children) are being left behind. 

If you are currently unvaccinated, but have frozen embryos in storage, you will now no longer be able to access these unless you pay to have them transferred to a clinic in a different country (you would then have to have all your treatment carried out there too)

You will now no longer be eligible for any treatment.

I was always a firm believer in democracy and believed we lived in a democratic country where we had the choice of what we did with our own bodies. It seems this is no longer the case. This is absolutely coercion and people are having their choice taken away from them.

The government should not have the power to control whether someone gets to have a child based on their vaccination status

Regardless if your opinion on vaccines, surely you must be against this? This is a heartbreaking ruling for thousands of people, and now because of this - thousands of potential children will never get to be born.

If I didn't start my treatment early, the little innocent boy I'm carrying right now will have never had a chance of life.
