The issue here is that the EVIT Automotive Program is not the same anymore. Recently over the 2026-2027 school year, the Dean for Automotive, implemented a "menu" to service your vehicle. The "menu" includes different service items like oil changes, alignments, etc. The point of this was to recoup costs of the expenditures like getting rid of oil, antifreeze, etc. Back last year, 25-26, we didn't have to pay to bring the vehicles in. This had negative monetary impacts on EVIT, to which they responded by raising prices to quite exuberant amounts. We need to bring back affordable pricing to service the vehicles we come to learn in everyday. Even a $10 service fee would be better than $45 for an alignment!
