This petition is my way of fighting back against Epic Games Support. At this point I have personally had 19 cases since november 2024 with their support team, trying to recover my hacked fortnite account. I have submitted my account recovery form 10 times ans got rejected every time.

I have provided receipts. Pictures. Detailed account information. And have proven beyond any doubt that I'm the original creator of the account that needs recovering. 

I've been denied every time. Even when I've talked to the support agents and showed every bit of proof I get a scripted answer everytime that the only way to recovery my account is through their own system they call "account recovery".

It requires you to answer specific questions about your account of course. It also requires you to do the account recovery on a network you've been connected to while playing on the account. You can also add additional information at the end.

I've submitted every detail correct and triple checked everything during multiple attempts but I still get rejected.

In other words. If you (like me) don't log into your account for 6 years. Move away from your parents house and they move away also, there's no way for you to get your account back.

I believe this is borderline aiding criminals considering they refuse to help you recover your stolen account for "security reasons" which ONLY aids the hackers. And I will say it again. REFUSE to help. You only get scripted answers about their inability to help and a link to account recovery.

Another issue about the recovery requests is that you can only send 1. Then wait multiple days for it to be reviewed and then wait multiple days before you can try again because their system still believes you have an active request. So you get 1 chance about every 2 weeks. 

I'm part of multiple Facebook groups and sub-reddits where thousands of people share the exact same experience. Which is why I'm chosing to try gather these signatures and show force Epic games to do something about their flawed system which is designed to help hackers keep their hacked accounts and every single purchased items in said accounts. 

At this point with their flawed system it only helps the criminals. As long as you can gain access to an account it's yours to keep. This means in practice that hackers could easily steal your account and force a ransom for it to be returned. Thousands of dollars could be lost for many players. Card details could be stolen. It basically means that all valuables and all accounts are at risk of never being recovered and will remain stolen. It also gives scammers the opertunity to pretend they will give you back access for a small fee. These are FLOURISHING on the Facebook pages specifically. 

Everyone is at risk and I recommend NOT purchasing anything from these people until we can be sure our accounts stay ours and if we get hacked we can actually get them back. 

I will use however many signatures I can get to make Epic Games change their policy. If enough of their player base come forward and stands up to these people we will finally have our valuables and accounts back!

If this gains enough popularity and gets alot of signatures I will also provide them to media outlets to further fight our cases.

I will also daily send Epic games a link to this petition to keep reminding them that they are actively failing their own community.
