Make Emergency Veterinary Care Affordable for All Pet Owners

The Issue

I lost my beloved cat Kevin on Friday night , a tragedy that could have been averted if I had the financial means for his vital operation to remove the foreign body in his stomach- which we were told could cost up to £8000.

Sadly, emergency veterinary costs have become too expensive for many pet owners. A study  reports that almost 40% of dog owners and almost 50% of cat owners cannot afford emergency veterinary care. Such high costs put our beloved companions at risk. I am petitioning for the reduction of these emergency fees. It's our duty as a society to ensure the wellbeing of our loyal companions, making sure they receive the necessary care in critical situations irrespective of the owner's financial capacity. Sign this petition to support affordable emergency veterinary care and give all pets a fighting chance for survival.
