The past week seems pretty eventful. Wednesday made the 24th anniversary of the attack on twin towers. The day prior was the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who is known for promoting free speech. I don't support political violence in any way, regardless of the beliefs of the people involved, if anyone's liberal or conservative, democrat or republican. You should treat all of it the same way. He was pretty young and had a wife and children. the children would have to live without a father and wife has to live with the grief of losing her husband. I feel like it could be morally unacceptable to just make it about me and this petition (as free speech goes along with voting) but still as the person behind it, I should still mention it as it is part of our recent event. 9/11 had been a big event in our history as there was a bit of unity afterwards. I might not have been born until after but I figured it'd be a good idea to mention it. I have meaning to post this update within the past couple days but at least I got to it.
