In 2015, Disney's animated classic "Cinderella" got the live action treatment. I loved the remake! It's such a touching and magical reimagining of the beloved film! It had a great cast which features Lily James as Ella AKA Cinderella, Cate Blanchett as her wicked stepmother, Helena Bonham Carter as The Fairy Godmother, etc. It has several interesting and meaningful twists to the story. Yes, it was different from the other movie but in a good way. It's one of Disney's best live action remakes ever! In some ways, it was better than the original animated classic! But yes, they're both great movies in their own ways!

This beloved treasure so deeply resonated with us, in fact, it accomplished the unimaginable - standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the original classic in its charm and timeless allure. It introduced us to our beloved characters in a new light, allowing us to journey with Cinderella, Prince Kit, and the other characters once more. The emotional depth, the whimsical beauty of it all, was an experience we dearly treasure.

I would love to see a live action Cinderella 2 happen! In fact, I heard there were rumors and speculations about a sequel. Unfortunately, it's now been over a decade since the movie came out and Disney still hasn't officially announced anything about it yet. In fact, I don't know if they're even interested in doing a continuation. I really think it's about time Disney gave this amazing live action remake the sequel it deserves. Yes, I know it might not need a sequel in some ways and I'm not trying to pressure them. It's just I believe that Disney has the creativity and imagination to come up with a continuation that captures the magic and spirit of the original movie! I really think a live action Cinderella 2 has so much potential!

Today, we stand together, yearning for those enchanting moments to continue. Indeed, the classic Cinderella movie was honored with not just one, but two sequels which consists of "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002)" and "Cinderella III: A Twist In Time (2007)." If the original animated classic can get sequels, why not the live action remake?! How entrancing it would be to plunge back into that magical world; to see how Queen Cinderella and King Kit have matured into sovereignty, and perhaps even burgeoning parenthood.

Here's another thing I would like to point out: Disney's "Maleficent" (2014), which is both a live action remake and twist on the animated classic "Sleeping Beauty," got a sequel called "Maleficent Mistress of Evil" (2019) and they actually have a third one in the works! It's currently the only Disney remake to get a sequel. However, I recently heard they actually have a sequel for the live action "Lilo and Stitch" (2025) in development as well!! Also the live action "Jungle Book" (2016) as well which I think should be happening very soon! I loved the remakes so much!! Also, the live action "Lion King" (2019) recently got a prequel called "Mufasa: The Lion King" and was very successful! Not only that, but I slightly heard that some of the other remakes might be getting continuations too possibly. Since Disney's sequels and prequels are starting to pick up, I truly believe they should give one to Cinderella (2015) as well!

We understand the effort and resources it takes to create a sequel, but we sincerely believe that a sequel to Disney’s live action Cinderella would be a remarkable addition to the Disney franchise. It will not only rekindle the magic for those who were smitten by the remake but will also introduce a whole new generation to the classical charm of Cinderella, spinning it forward.

We have waited too long for this happen, so I believe it's now time to take action on all this! With this petition, we respectfully urge Disney to consider creating a sequel to the Cinderella remake. We long to explore the further adventures of Queen Cinderella, King Kit and their magical kingdom. Let's continue the tradition of sequels, let’s witness the progress of their love story - it's time we see what happens next.

Join us in this endeavor to bring a live action Cinderella 2 to life. Please sign and support this petition today!! We've got to make this happen!! We need a live action Cinderella 2!!!
