Three Conversations This Week

Hi Caregiver Advocates,

816 signatures. 725 (Now 726!!! - Thank you!!!) of you are confirmed supporters. 275 remain between us and the threshold where petitions become five times more likely to generate a direct legislative response.

September 30 is the Colorado Senate sponsor deadline for the CARE Act's 2027 session. Every signature between now and that date is constituency a sponsor can point to. Every signature after it is momentum for the session itself.

This week I carry three conversations on the bill's behalf - a legal review, a Commission audition, and a sunset review meeting. The actuarial case travels with me. Thirty-three caregiving arrangement failures statewide erase the entire $1.1 million in projected Medicaid savings from the caregiver hour cap. Colorado's Commission hasn't seen that number yet.

Senator Amabile, Senator Mullica, and Senator Bennet are named recipients of this petition. Decision makers are watching.
