Make CFL revoke decision on Argo's players

The Issue

CFL covid protocol for all of the 2021 season has been that if a player breaks the rules, they will be quarantined for 4 days and miss any games in that time frame. On Thursday Dec 2, 2021, 5 members of the Toronto Argonauts football team, including Quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, attended a Toronto Raptors basketball game, in conflict with the Covid rules. On Friday, Dec 3, the CFL announced that those 5 players will only need to quarantine for 2 days so that they can return to play for the Eastern Final game on Sunday Dec 5, if they test negative for their covid tests.

All teams and most players have followed the rules all season, and those who did not, were disciplined according to CFL's covid protocol. The fact that the CFL has bent this ruling specifically so the Argo's players would be able to play in the Eastern Final is completely unfair to all of those players who did follow the rules and all of those who were properly disciplined. Not only is it unfair to Hamilton Tiger Cats team and fans but every team and fan (obviously other than Toronto) should be upset by this ruling, if the Argo's make it to the Grey Cup and win, it will tarnish the integrity of our game as known cheaters will be hoisting the cup. The players knowingly broke the rules and should be held accountable for this decision.

Let's let the CFL and Randy Ambrosie know how unhappy we are with this ruling with the only way I can think of that may make any difference, a petition for the CFL to revoke their ruling and quarantine all 5 players for the agreed upon 4 day time period.
