Make Cambridge a Youth Friendly City

Make Cambridge a Youth Friendly City
The Issue
The Child Friendly Cities Initiative is a UNICEF led initiative that strives to expand child rights and safety in cities across the world.
To become an official Child Friendly City, a city must receive a designation from the Child Friendly Cities Initiative after taking action to improve child voice, safety, participation, and rights in the community. Cambridge is not yet certified, but it already has many amazing programs and policies that are a great start on the road to becoming a Youth Friendly City.
Our goal is to start a movement to create a Youth Friendly Cambridge. Part of this is to designate Cambridge as a Youth Friendly City. However, this takes time, and we are still on step one. Currently, our focus is to bring the Child Friendly Cities Initiative to the attention of City Council and decision makers in our government.
If you would like to support our movement and certify Cambridge as a Youth Friendly City, please sign our petition.
Thank you so much for your support!
