Make Brundisi Way Safe again

The Issue

Current Update:

We have spoken with the Mayor and he has someone come out this morning 4/14 !! They will be installing no parking signs in July !!
We will keep you posted !!

Our family, along with others who are residents of Brundisi Way, are pleading for a critical change in our community's road safety.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, our quiet, safe street has slowly transformed into a perilous situation due to the  parking from the popular baseball field.

Now, the field's increased use, including by a local high school, has led to dangerous road conditions on Brundisi Way.

Cars are parked along both sides of our street every day into the evening and throughout the weekend. With vehicles lining each side, only one car can pass at a time—a formula for disaster.

The situation has escalated to the point where our children's safety is at risk when they play or bike around our own neighbourhood, not to mention the difficulty all residents have navigating their own street.

The solution seems simple to us but has been ignored by the city thus far: red curbing the baseball park side of the street on Brundisi where the street narrows.

It is an action that will encourage guests to use the constantly vacant parking lots instead of the street, opening up room and making our street safe again.

Let's not wait for a tragic accident to occur before we act. We implore the city to address this urgent concern and make Brundisi Way safe again by implementing new parking rules.

Your signature can help us amplify our concerns to the city officials and help drive their action. Please, sign this petition and stand with us to protect our families and our community.
