Since decades many artists such as   Jimmy Hendrix,  Van Gogh,  Séraphine de Senlis and others had to waste their talent and creative energy on existential crisis doing odd jobs to survive while creating timeless art.  Only God knows how many people live like this nowadays struggling to find a way to send their unique message through arts while not being financially supported and liberated from existential depression and creeping survival fears.

If we do not act now and demand from every government in the world to make Basic Income for Artist mandatory we will keep living in the society which uses tax money to fund weapon factories, wars and many other things that are not supporting human thriving. On the other hand creative expression has power to improve, enhance, inspire and liberate human lives by uplifting spirit through beauty, honesty and authenticity. In particular, example of Sixto Rodriguez who as quoted by Google " has provided a musical and lyrical soundtrack to the anti-apartheid movement, giving young people, including liberal Afrikaners, a voice for rebellion and a tool to "free their minds"  is strong example of how music can transform nations instead of politics. His music started  revolution in South Africa while he spent his life in Detroit laying bricks instead of skyrocketing like Bob Dylan. For those of you who want to learn more check out "Sugar Man" documentary.  Also a story of Van Gogh has been told in INSTA reel here https://www.instagram.com/p/DRhf4WOjIXY/ reminding us that the most valuable in any art is genuine and vulnerable human story.

Hence, supporting  genuine spirits who just want to share their truth with the world in any way art form they wish is more then necessary cause it can uplift fully our entire existence while we are alive here.

Why does this matter to me? I come from struggling family who had to spend their lives in existential fear while being gifted with many talents that never got chance to soar to extremes.  Only last 5 years it came to my focus how engaging with arts and exploring this God given gifts can empower individual  identity from within.

Specifically, 20 months ago I resigned well paid but dead end and toxic job in SW development automotive industry here in capital of Serbia Belgrade while embarking on an intense individuation journey. This gave me space to form artist identity, discover ideas and inspiration steaming from my Soul, face and move through all creeping existential fears growing as well in my spirituality. This experience has extremely sharpened my personal perspective on why we need arts and to give room and space to people to grow in this creative way as mentioned in previous paragraphs.  One cannot be fully immersed in creation if one is not sure where his/her money gonna come while being misunderstood from the environment that is fine with programmed way of living. If you resonate with what has been shared here please sign and share this petition and know that Irish government has since 2022  already kicked off with BIA pilot program aiming to make it mandatory from 2026. If they are icebreaker we can all push forward as a collective to make this happen and in language of Silicon Valley "make this world a better place"  while in my view technology is not the asset that is gonna do it. It is US liberated creatives.

Spiritually looking art is a form of high vibration that HEALS cause it originates from the place of Love and Joy that each human has a potential to discover and live.

All the best, God bless and know that this entire text has been written by a human free of Chat GPT which did comment following "Creation itself deserves stability — not as privilege, but as the foundation of civilization."

My name is Bojana Begović aka Dr Bo Beg born in small village in Serbia and I approve this message.
