Auburn Hockey & Auburn Figure Skating Club have to travel roughly 69.4 miles total per trip just to go to an ice rink. That's a lot of money! This petition is to turn the old AMC into a civic complex / ice rink year round! It would diminish the inconvenience of having to drive 1000's of miles each week just to practice. It would impact Hockey players/ figure skaters lives for the better! Also, it would be great fun to have during the summer to cool down or to celebrate birthday parties in the winter!
