Even if you qualify to bring an animal to ACC under their narrow and strict guidelines you must first call to make an appointment. You may call at 10 a.m. but not get an appointment until 4 p.m., no matter how urgent your issue and no matter if that time fits your schedule. Is such a policy a good service to the taxpayers who funded the new shelter?

This requirement replaces the fairer "take a number" system of first come, first served.

Objecting to this shameful policy is not part of the petition, but it is consistent with ACC's other new policies that limit or withdraw public services.
