In the Power Rangers SPD episode “Boom”, Boom dreams of being an extra Ranger for the B-Squad. He visualizes himself as the very first Orange Ranger in the franchise. Later in the episode, Boom lies to his parents about being the Orange Ranger, and Commander Cruger tells him that he has no experience in training to be an official Ranger. Even not as the Orange Ranger, Boom can never leave his fellow SPD cadets in danger because it takes selflessness and heart to be a proud member of the SPD Earth Branch.

Many fans wonder what happens to Boom after Grumm’s defeat. Some predict that he will move back to his parents and start a new life outside of SPD. Others believe that Cruger will promote him as the official Orange Ranger of the B-Squad. Only the Morphin Masters, and hopefully Hasbro can tell us Boom’s future in New-tech City.

If Boom does get promoted as the Orange Ranger, he would officially have his own arsenal, S.W.A.T. Mode, vehicle, and a Zord. All will be revealed once BOOM! Studios makes a comic book to tell us if Boom really has the maturity and courage to become the SPD Orange Ranger. This comic will be an absolute tribute to Boom’s actor, Kelson Henderson.
