Historie is an historical manga series written and illustrated by Hitoshi Iwaaki, author of Kiseiju. It follows the history of Eumenes, a secretary and general to Alexander the Great. The manga is ongoing and currently has 11 volumes.

Why should Historie had an anime adaptation?

The Mainichi newspaper calls Iwaaki's vision of Eumenes' past "Bold and unique." 

Jason Thompson, one of the best-known manga critics in the United States, says that in terms of scale, ambition, and plotting, Historie is the author's masterpiece.

In 2010, Historie received the Grand Prize at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival as well as the 16th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2012. 

These are several reasons why Historie should receive an anime adaptation. 

Historie's international community of fans has been asking for it for years, and hopes that one day it will come true.
