As a person who frequently uses a pushchair, I find it incredibly difficult to navigate around train and London Underground stations. Many of these stations only have stairs or escalators.

Now imagine the struggle of wheelchair users or individuals with disabilities. 

The lack of accessibility in our public transport system is an issue that needs urgent attention. According to Transport for All, only 50 out of the 270 tube stations are step-free from street to platform (source: Transport for All). This means that less than 20% of all tube stations in London are fully accessible.

We need to change this situation now. We call on the relevant authorities to ensure that all train and underground stations are equipped with lifts or at the very least, ramps or a slope, making them accessible for everyone regardless of their physical capabilities.
