Hi Super Supporters!

This week is a big week for the campaign as I’m meeting not one, but two decision makers! I’m going to meet Superdrug today and Sainsbury’s tomorrow.

The campaign took action on Sainsbury’s in October 2018 and Superdrug in July this year. They agreed to my requests to meet them to talk about the campaign, the issue of plastic in their products and how they can bring about change.

Here is some information about the two decision makers I’m meeting:

Superdrug have an own-brand range including tampons, plastic applicators, pads and pantyliners. They don’t currently stock any eco-friendly tampons, pads or reusable alternatives in-store, giving customers no access to choice.

Sainsburys have an own-brand range including tampons, pads and pantyliners. The campaign has resulted in them stocking eco-friendly tampons, pads and reusables in-stores nationwide and stopping the production of their own-brand plastic applicators.

I look forward to delivering the petition and discussing the campaign with them and hearing what they have to say.

If there are any concerns or questions you would like to raise, please add them in comments section below.

I will update you with the outcome of both meetings and what happened as soon as possible!

Thank you for your continued support!

Ella :)
