Hi super supporters,

Today I’m asking you to join me in taking action by tweeting Morrisons to take responsibility for the unnecessary plastic in their own brand period care and to make change happen by going plastic-free!

I have been continually contacting them since the campaign was started, about the issue of plastic in their period products, the campaign and the need to make eco-friendly options available in their stores, however I haven’t received any response, this isn’t good enough and it isn’t an issue that can be ignored!

We know that the plastic content of these products isn’t needed, that the environmental impacts are avoidable and that changes can and must be made! Another issue is that Morrisons don’t currently have any eco-friendly alternatives available in their stores, whereas the other supermarkets in the ‘big four’ have already made them including reusables available within the last year, so there is no excuse for Morrisons not to do the same, it is really important that they give much-needed access to these options, because customers deserve choice!

We have all already had a direct influence on two supermarkets and I know they will listen if we contact them together, so let’s raise our voices and break the plastic cycle, period!

Thank you for your continued support, let’s make change happen!
