Hi Super Supporters!

In the campaign update on Tuesday I explained how last week I rang P&G requesting a face-to-face meeting to discuss the petition and the issue of plastic in Tampax and Always. This comes after weeks of action being taken on them and hundreds of emails being sent to them by supporters and many others including myself, which still haven’t received a response.

They told me that I would receive an email by Wednesday (20th) about the face-to-face meeting, however no email arrived, so I rang them again. They said that they didn’t know why I hadn’t received an email and that they don’t know when I will, which brings me to the demonstration.

Next week on Thursday 28th February between 1 and 2pm I will be holding a peaceful demonstration outside P&G’s headquarters in Weybridge, because the impacts of these products cannot and must not be ignored. 

It would be brilliant if you could join me, so that we can raise our voices together and take a stand to show them that change must happen! The address for their headquarters is: Procter & Gamble, The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge KT13 0XP. I do, however completely understand if you can’t be there, so I will be updating the campaign next week with how you can get involved whilst the demonstration is taking place, so that we can take a stand together both online and in person!

In the meantime, let’s keep up the pressure by tweeting, emailing and sharing pictures of period plastic using the #EndPeriodPlastic on social media, to make it clear that change must happen!
