Make AION 2 pre-registration and Twitch skin drops account-wide
The Issue
I've been an enthusiastic participant in the AION 2 community from the very start. Along with countless others, I eagerly pre-registered for the game, dedicated hours to watching Twitch streams, and took part in various engaging events rolled out during the pre-launch phase. It was during this exciting period that I, like many others, collected exclusive rewards such as the pre-registration pet, stylish glasses, trendy headphones, and other cosmetic items from Twitch.
However, there’s a pressing issue that many players face: these coveted rewards are tied to a specific character or server. This restriction has caused a lot of frustration among players who, like me, have experimented by creating characters on different servers or trying out various factions to find the perfect fit. Each server or character lock means losing out on those hard-earned rewards if a player decides to switch.
The heart of the problem is this: in a dynamic and expansive game like AION 2, flexibility is key. Players often find themselves wanting to explore different aspects of the game, reinvent their strategies, or join new friends on different servers. However, the character-specific or server-specific reward system hampers our freedom to do so, forcing us to choose between enjoying the game freely or holding onto our prized items.
To address this widespread concern, I am calling upon the developers of AION 2 to make all pre-registration and Twitch rewards account-wide. By implementing this change, players won’t be penalized for exploring the game to its fullest. We should be allowed to carry our accomplishments with us, no matter which character we choose or where we decide to play.
Making these rewards account-wide would not only enhance the player experience but also encourage more dynamic engagement with the AION 2 universe without the fear of losing valuable items. This adjustment would foster a more inclusive and flexible playing environment, ultimately boosting community satisfaction and loyalty.
