Ruby gillman, teenage kraken has one of the most interstellar concepts for a film that I've seen, as a person who's always loved fantasy stories and mythical creatures, I always thought that kraken's were evil creatures. However, this film changed my perspective on them.

When I left the cinema, I left the cinema with wonder in my eyes, one of the biggest things me and other people love about ruby gillman, besides the characters and story is it's soundtrack, If it wasn’t for the film’s soundtrack, I wouldn’t know some of the artists I know now such as mimi webb and freya ridings. Not to mention, I wouldn’t know the film’s other cast members.

and their are meny people like me who are very saddened that this film flopped, we understand that the film didn't do well at the box office, but we shouldn't let that stop this movie from becoming a franchise. After all, the film did become the most watched film on nexflix from february to march 2024 AND it also topped dvd charts in europe and america, so surely that says something about the film's audience.

I think what the sequel should include, ( if it's a decision that will ever be made by DreamWorks ) is ruby's coronation, more sea monsters and maybe even more superpowers for ruby! what I mean by this is during the ending scene of the film when ruby is at her prom, Agatha and grandmamah are literally seen talking about ruby's coronation, so i think the idea of the sequel taking place years after the original where ruby is an adult and the new queen of the kraken's sounds like it could be beneficial for the story and characters, the how to train your dragon franchise is a great example of how time-skips in movies can be beneficial for the plot and characters.

As for other sea monsters, I feel like there's ALOT of sea monsters to be explored in a sequel, we learn quite alot about the mermaid species, but as for the other sea monsters that grandmamah mentions, we know almost nothing about them besides their names, so I think that it would be an amazing idea to explore those sea monsters in a sequel, the possibilities for this world are endless.

And lastly, i would love it if they just made ruby overpowered xD
because who knows if ruby will ever get any more powers if they did do a sequel, I say just give her a new power that just makes her overpowered because why not, maybe make her bigger with a new form as well xD

In conclusion, their are alot of things in ruby gillman that can be explored in a sequel ( or a tv show ) and we believe in you DreamWorks. And, we need you to believe in ruby gillman again; please let ruby go big again.
