The Issue

For years Mojang has been adding only one real-life original animal per year to Minecraft (in 2022 it was Frogs, in 2023 - Camels, in 2024 - Armadillos, and finally in 2025 - Nautiluses). This year they haven't added any real-life animal to the game, which reveals a problem with Minecraft's update content.

Many people have expressed their discontent as "Wilderness Bound" hasn't brought any real-life mobs and they themselves were hoping for new additions such as Badgers but their expectations came to nothing. This shows that Mojang's laziness in terms of Minecraft's update content is inherently flawed.

Finally Minecraft made its popularity thanks to regular updates and large amounts of content. This was back as 2011. Now Minecraft is not only the best selling game in history, but also has financial support of the massive corporation Microsoft, but on the other hand players receive only four major updates per year as of 2025 and barely get any original real-life mobs.

So let's call upon Mojang. Make a real wilderness update for Minecraft. Give us your forgotten animals and vegetation. If unpaid modders can add your forgotten mobs, then at least you could follow the frequency of new content that made Minecraft famous.

Here's my concept for what a real wilderness update in Minecraft would look like:
