In my art class (CISD) we had a really bad sub.

She would scream at students, invade their privacy and personal space, and be mean in general.

She screamed at one of my classmates, saying “Do you know the meaning of art??” because she didn’t like her coloring.

All of us (and all the other periods as well) agreed that we HATED this substitute. All of my class even told our teacher about how much we disliked this substitute!

But since we can’t control who we get at all…we got her 2 weeks later! She made us do an assignment on paper, only for our teacher to say that we had to do it in our sketchbooks (which we had been saying to the substitute all ALONG).

Collectively (as a school), we can all agree that there are MANY bad substitutes, but there is nothing stopping them from coming again!

Because of this (and many other incidents like this) my classmates are urging me to make a petition for helping us make a system to rate our substitutes.

If we had this, CISD would be able to recognize that this substitute is not great for us, and possibly other students. To minimize costs, we could have students conduct and organize the system.
