With today's economy, everyone is struggling.  In our line of work, we see the immediate result of what happens when money runs out.  Horses get abandoned, injured, starved, etc.  Someone's once prized possession easily becomes disposable, and left for organizations like us to put back together.  We have numerous horses that have no ailments, except their owners simply walked away.  We implore our supporters to give...just a little.  For the price of lunch out once a month, you can make a difference.  We ask for a small $10 donation from our supporters to help our orphans.  Other ways to help are by shopping on www.igive.com/lohr, by using www.goodsearch.com, by donating land, junk cars, old used cell phones, used ink jet printer cartridges (all of which we recycle).  You can help a lot by giving a little.  Volunteers are welcome, either on the farm, or off.  We rely on your help to continue our education programs and support our orphans.  Our board members do not collect a salary, so you can be assured any funding going directly to the horses.
