Monsters vs. Aliens is an American animated movie that was produced by DreamWorks Animation and released in 2009. Many think it was a rather mediocre movie, but there were some people who actually liked it. However, because the movie didn't perform well in the box office, DreamWorks stated that they didn't have plans to make a sequel.

Some people, including me, thought that Monsters vs. Aliens had an interesting concept with tons of potential for adventures. The characters themselves were very likable and memorable, with my favorite character in the film being Ginormica, the giantess who has the Quantonium.

Monsters vs. Aliens 2 could be better and more successful than the original film. An example of this is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish; where it was considered to be superior to the Puss in Boots 2011 film (which was also considered to be mediocre) and was more successful at the box office, even holding its own against James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water.

So yeah, if a Monsters vs. Aliens 2 ever happened, maybe now's the best chance. Also if it was ever made, I hope Ginormica still wears the bodysuit she wore when she was abducted by Gallaxhar in the original film. Also, they should make the Nickelodeon TV series non-canon, cause it was really bad.

All in all, Monsters vs. Aliens is a film that is really personal to me. I really hope it gets more recognition and gets a sequel that surpasses it in every way and does well enough at the box office to greenlight several more installments in the series. Also, I may point out that while there are several petitions on this site to make a Monsters vs. Aliens sequel, I feel like none of them convinced DreamWorks to make a Monsters vs. Aliens sequel, but I feel like my petition is the one to convince DreamWorks Animation to make the Monsters vs. Aliens sequel we all wanted. It'd be a dream come true!

As I said, I think now is the best chance to make a Monsters vs. Aliens sequel. The original film had lots of potential for fun adventures, and I don't want to see that potential wasted. So I need all of your help to convince DreamWorks to make a true sequel film to Monsters vs. Aliens.
