Hi there! I'm Cole Hicks. I live in Coal City, Illinois and frankly, there isn't a whole lot of things for us kids to do outside of extra curricular activities in school, such as clubs and sports. One of the things that we can go to is the Coal City Area Club. My family and I go here every summer and have a great time! Unfortunately, the only road leading to and from the area club is very dangerous to walk or bike on, and prevents kids and families from getting there without taking a car. There are no walking paths, no sidewalks, nothing. The few things that kids have to do in the town, we should be able to get there and back home without the fear of getting run over. And that goes for everybody! Help make this small town of ours a safe place. Thanks!
