Video proof has shown helpless, live animals suffering amidst garbage in the dumpsters designated to these stores. Animals include but not limited to numerous species of birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, and small aquatic animals such as hermit crabs, snails, and shrimp. This practice is cruel and unacceptable.

It is clear that in this world, there is a serious problem with animal overpopulation with the purpose of human entertainment. 

Furthermore, many corporate pet stores continue to sell live animals despite the availability of adoption programs and rescue organizations that offer alternative options. This perpetuates the cycle of overbreeding and contributes to the high number of homeless pets.

We demand that corporate pet stores take responsibility for their role in this issue by implementing policies that prioritize adoption over breeding and reduce the number of live animals thrown away each year. We urge these companies to work with local shelters and rescue organizations to find homes for unwanted pets rather than simply discarding them.

It is time for these corporations to recognize their impact on animal welfare and take action towards creating a more humane future for all creatures great and small.
