As of 1st November, a notice was released under the provision of Majlis Pembandaran Pasir Gudang, promoting a campaign that encourages the general public to catch stray dogs in return for a reward less than 13USD. This campaign will be in effect from 1/11/16 to 31/12/16.

This is outrageous. Why? Because every lives matter, even canines'. The fact that these people are treating their situation as some sort of bounty-esque sport is just a direct violation of animal rights. Also, it endangers the safety of general public who wishes to take part because strays tend to lash out in aggression when they're threatened.

So I'm begging you, everyone, to put a stop to this modern day barbarism. We all know that, the right way to contain strays is by educating the general public on the consequences of over-breeding and proper ways to behave around strays.
