Brownie/Ah Boy has been a part of the Taman Century neighborhood since 2015, he used to have a family but was soon left to fend for himself when he outgrew his puppy cuteness.
Out of kindness from some neighbors, he grew up well fed and loved.
However, in late 2020, with the pandemic going on, more puppies and dogs were abandoned in the neighborhood which made people complain about a pack of dogs causing a ruckus. 
Brownie has been with the neighborhood for the past 7 years, he is well behaved and a sweet dog. He would accompany us when we go for our morning or evening walks. Guiding and walking alongside us. Brownie was neutered in 2019 under Penang’s Trap Neuter and Release program which makes him a perfect candidate as a neighborhood dog. However, because of complaints against other dogs, he has been captured by MBPP numerous times, once in April and once in May 2021. Brownie is such a sweet and trusting boy that it is easy to capture him. It must be very traumatic for Brownie to be repeatedly cornered and captured.
