Maintaining the Cleanliness and Tranquility of India's Natural Heritage

The Issue

There are mainly two issues that I want to address through this petition.

1. In many National Parks, Sanctuaries, and other Natural spaces, one can often see wrappers, packets, and other garbage lying around at a few spots; sometimes even on the jungle safari track.

2. Another issue is the noise from hotels near the buffer zone which play loud music for their guests.

These are the two of the main things that are related to nature or wildlife tourism that are not being addressed as efficiently as they should be.

These things can pose a threat to the balance of the wild by disturbing normal animal behaviour and disrupting ecological activities.

Tourism should be made into a Conservation supporting activity, not a disrupting one.

Any existing rules with respect to these issues are not being strongly enforced at the ground level.

These issues must be brought to light and the implementation of the relevant rules and enforcements must be made by the MoEFCC - Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and all the State Forest Departments, Government of India.

Thank you.
