The goal of this petition is to keep the library and its workers from exposing our children to sensitive topics without our consent as their parents including, but not limited to sex, and images, artwork, and words that are sexual in nature, explanations and interpretations of gender identity, and the like,by displaying them publically where children can see.

It is the parent's right to choose when and how these sensitive issues are introduced. It is not our goal to have these items removed from the library, but to remove them from public display and shelve them with discretion.
