The Girls Wrestling Program at Emery High School will provide an invaluable platform for young women to learn discipline, teamwork, and leadership. This program is not just about wrestling; it's a chance for girls to build confidence, physically and emotionally. As America’s fastest growing high school sport, this will create numerous college scholarship opportunities for girls. After only one season, we already have one athlete that will be moving on to compete at the college level next year, Dazi Thatcher. The discontinuation of this program would result in a tremendous loss for the students and the community as a whole. We must stand by our young athletes and foster their growth. We must maintain the Girls Wrestling Program at Emery High School. Sign this petition and stand in defense of our girls, our athletes, and our future leaders.
