Maintain the Existing Dress Code at Franklin Towne Charter Highschool

The Issue

The recent proposal to change the dress code at Franklin Towne Charter Highschool has raised significant concerns among students and parents. The new rules are seen as unfair and unnecessary, potentially stiffening individuality and creating undue burden on families to conform to these changes. According to a 2018 study by the National Education Association, strict dress codes can often lead to decreased student self-esteem and increased disciplinary actions (National Education Association). We believe that maintaining our current dress code will foster a more inclusive environment for all students. Sign this petition if you support keeping the existing dress code at Franklin Towne Charter High School.

Students and Parents are reasonably frustrated and want this NEW uniform conduct to be renounced (that is going to take effect June 1, 2024)
