Travis Hartford started this petition to Aroostook County Sheriffs Department Maine State Police

On July 10th, 1970 three young men were found deceased on the railroad tracks in Oakfield Maine. The boys names are Kenny Novak 15, Davis Burrows 17, and Terry Burt 19.The sheriffs office says the boys were asleep on the tracks and were struck and killed by a train.  There was no investigation, just an open and shut case even with the lack of blood at the scene and NO MOVEMENT from any of the boys with a train bearing down on them blaring the horn, 2 hours after sunrise.....

Body temps were never taken to determine the time of death for any of the boys.   Their bodies sent back to Canada even though a death certificate was never issued until 40 years later when a brother of one of the victims began asking questions.

We petition the State of Maine to re-open this case as unsolved deaths with a full investigation and closure for the families.
