We want the great state of Maine to listen to the needs of children, speaking on behalf of them by their parents, by lifting the mask mandates in schools.

Children are proven to be at a minimal risk of  contracting serious symptoms of covid-19 and thrive better in situations where they can read facial queues and expressions.

If the mask mandates can be lifted for the general public (and they have been for the state of Maine) then they should be lifted for our children in their schools as well!
