Withdraw untimely and illegal transfer of Thane collector Ashwini Joshi

Withdraw untimely and illegal transfer of Thane collector Ashwini Joshi
The Issue
IAS officer Ashwini Joshi made a big difference in Thane district since her posting one and half years ago. Illegal encroachments on the road that had survived for decades were removed. Not just roads, all illegal activities including environment degradation, evasion of government taxes and revenue, etc., which eventually affect the common citizens were curbed. Impartial governance and stringent action against violators of the law, irrespective of their political party affiliations was one of the traits of IAS officer Joshi.
However, just when everything was working in favour of the common citizens, Joshi was abruptly transferred as Thane collector. This is in violation of the Bombay High Court order which stipulates a minimum 3 year tenure for IAS/IPS officers.
Please sign this petition and extend your support to an honest IAS officer and prevail upon the Maharashtra CM to reconsider his order of transferring Joshi.
