The New York Rangers won the 2018 NHL Winter Classic, defeating the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in overtime. The Rangers improved their record to 4-0 in outdoor games, previously beating the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2012 NHL Winter Classic, and both the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders in the 2014 NHL Stadium Series. It appears that the Rangers are best served playing games outdoors, based on their perfect outdoor record, and less than stellar indoor record. By signing this petition, I propose that the roof to Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Rangers, either be removed or be made to be retractable, so that the Rangers can play as many outdoor games as possible, clearly then leading to many Rangers wins, and hopefully many Stanley Cup championships.
