As of December 31, 2013, Phish has played Madison Square Garden 31 times, most of those concerts sold out.  This is 21 concerts short of the Grateful Dead's record 52 performances at the venue, most by a band (A few solo artists have played MSG more, but we are looking for the record for a band).

With Phish playing fewer concerts each year (and the fact they did not play MSG in 2014, whether that was a decision of the venue or the band), the window for Phish to play at least 21 more concerts at MSG is fading.

Therefore, we fans are asking MSG, Phish and Red Light Management to make an effort that Phish can reach (and ultimately break) the Grateful Dead's record for a band, while the opportunity still exists.
