Allow Samuel Perry to graduate
Allow Samuel Perry to graduate
The Issue
Sam Perry is currently being denied a high school diploma from Madison Central after 12 years of school and hard work due to an episode entirely beyond his control. His system was found to be completely free of any mind-altering substances. Stress and sleep deprivation led to an unfortunate mental episode that could have happened to anyone. Sam harmed no one and is currently doing well. The school board can not possibly be allowed to think that their decision is morally sound. They are showing a stark disregard for a student whom they have dedicated countless resources and time.To prevent this person from achieving something they worked so hard for shows minimum to zero compassion. This was not his fault. Sam deserves to graduate!
If you are willing to make the effort, please call district superintendent Ronnie McGeehee at 601-879-3000 and tell him that you think the current way the situation is being handled is quite unfair.
