On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Macon-Bibb County Commissioner Joe Allen responded to a post on social media about the protests in Minnesota by saying, 

"It's now time to SHOOT to KILL them if they continue to destroy..."

Commissioner Allen is not seeking reelection, but we are demanding his immediate resignation for his incendiary, divisive comments that stoke the flames of violence and police brutality. 

This will not be tolerated in Macon-Bibb.
