Reduce unwanted dogs/cat by requiring spay/neuter laws and closing all puppy mills.

0 have signed. Let’s get to 2,500!

Our state of Alabama has a huge problem with unwanted animals.  We've all seen where Birmingham Humane Society took in over 1300 animals and Gadsden/Etowah Humane Societies  took in a total of 800 dogs/cats in June alone.  THIS JUST CANT CONTINUE!

Christi Okerson Brown your article on the FRONT PAGE of the GADSDEN TIMES was spot on!!
It's ridiculous that 501 animals were brought to your shelter and 300 to our county shelter in one month!!!

Mack Butler and Craig Ford, so many in our community have begged y'all for laws to help animals. We are thankful that you heard our voices but we must do more.

Stop ALL Puppy Mills, require and enforce spay/neuter laws, and use the revenue you receive from those who don't to help provide service for those who can't afford.

We as a state MUST DO MORE for these animals.
My heart broke knowing the shelter workers who love these animals will have to end lives they care for because our state doesn't care!!!

We the PEOPLE OF OUR WONDERFUL STATE MUST step up and pass laws to stop these PUPPY MILLS, non neutered/spayed dogs, no dogs chained to trees, and ENFORCE THE LAWS.

Our State Officals MUST PASS LAWS to REQUIRE ALL PET OWNERS to spay/neuter their animals or face stiff fines.  Puppy Mills are just horrible and must be shut down!

Last year's legislation almost passed a similar law but, WE THE PEOPLE OF ALABAMA did NOT let our voices be heard!

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SENATOR AND REPRESENTATIVES to let them know you are watching to see that laws are passed to help animals in our state.

These leaders of Alabama our elected by our citizens.  If your Representative or Senator isn't voting in favor of these laws then DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM AGAIN.
