Save Rosebud Cat Colony in Damascus, MD

Save Rosebud Cat Colony in Damascus, MD
The Issue
We have received an eviction notice from M-NCPPC as follows: "We write to advise you of the Parks decision regarding the Feral Cats Colony. While we understand your efforts to try to provide a safe habitat for the cats in the community, after careful consideration and a thorough investigation of this matter, we have determined that you must remove the cats and the cat structures no later than November 1st, 2015. If the cats and the cat structures are not removed from park land by November 1st, 2015, we will take appropriate actions to remove them.
Rosebud Colony officially began fall 2006 when I started TNRing the community cats in my neighborhood after I attended an ACA seminar on how to do this. Since then the cats have lived comfortably in their wooded home, bothering no one, hurting nothing. "
