Lyft Rideshareing company, in a bid to keep its drivers exclusively Lyft, have blocked ride share switching apps (for example: Maximo and Mystro) from safely allowing Uber and Lyft drivers to switch between the two apps hands free. A hands free switch would allow them to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheels at all times. Unfortunately, they now are forced to manually tap buttons on the phone to switch back and forth, putting both them and their client in danger of the consequences of distracted driving. Shame on you Lyft for putting your profits above safety!
